Want more information about the MS in Genomic Medicine?

First-year medical students at the Miller School now have the opportunity to earn a Master of Science in Genomic Medicine along with their medical degree, a program unique to the University of Miami. The educational mission of the program is to graduate clinicians with the ability to integrate genomic knowledge into their clinical practice. In collaboration with the Hussman Institute for Human Genomics, graduates will be trained in human genetics, family history, diagnostic genomic tests, high throughput sequencing, pharmacogenomics and the newest genomic concepts and approaches. The MD/MS degree will prepare students to be leaders in the adoption and integration of these methods in routine clinical care.

The upcoming informational session will give students the opportunity to get their questions answered about the program and meet the Program Director
William K. Scott, Ph.D.

Contact the Program Coordinator, Kayla Czape, MS, CGC, for more information.
