Ren-Hua Chung, Ph.D.

Ren-Hua Chung, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor in the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics . Dr. Chung is a statistical geneticist who is interested in statistical method development for complex disease-gene mapping. He extended the Association in the Presence of Linkage (APL) method to general nuclear family structures and haplotype analyses. He also developed APL-OSA, which applied the Ordered Subset Analysis to APL. His current research interests focus on the development of an association test that can use both family and case-control data and also the development of family-based association test for X-linked analyses.
